To help boys struggling with behavior challenges and men who are/or recently involved with the criminal justice system.

Resume Creation and Review

As part of the workforce development program, GRO Community has a number of young men looking for work opportunities in their communities. Our organization seeks professionals who have experience in developing resume review and editing skills. This support will help these young men to gain confidence in their job search and put forth their best self as they journey towards economic independence.

Friday Night Fun Event – Basketball Referee

On Friday evenings, GRO Community clinicians invite the boys in their care to participate in an evening of fun and community connection through Friday Night Fun. GRO Community is fortunate to have a small basketball court adjacent to the building where we host a variety of games including a 3-on-3 basketball tournament. GRO Community seeks committed individuals in becoming referees for these 3-on-3 tournaments.

(GRO) Community, is a mental health service provider that specializes in trauma informed treatment for boys and menages 5 and up from low socio-economic groups and/or black and brown communities. GRO service delivery model is grounded in an understanding of the neurological, biological and psychological effects of trauma. GRO utilizes an array of treatment modalities to ensure effective mental healthcare for boys and men of color living in high crime-high stress environments.
