• Support individuals with developmental disabilities in living their best, most independent lives. (Hence our name!)
• Help with communication, encourage personal growth, and celebrate their unique awesomeness.
• Plan and join in on recreational activities (yes, karaoke and game nights count as work!)
• Be a cheerleader and role model for the individuals we serve.

• Document everything (because you’re awesome at staying on top of things).
• Assist with finances, making purchases, and ensuring everything is accounted for.

• Help with medications, doctor’s visits, and emotional support
• Practice your chef skills and win over the people you assist (who doesn’t love food)
• Be there to support personal hygiene and help individuals put their best foot forward.

• Keep their home clean, safe, and happy—whether it’s handling household tasks or acing fire drills.
• Ensure everyone’s secure when traveling (because seatbelts save lives!)
• Build strong relationships with individuals, families, coworkers, and the community.
• Attend meetings, and trainings, and always bring your A-game.

• A high school diploma or equivalent

• Basic communication, math, and money-handling skills.
• A valid driver’s license or state
