TENICA is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer.
Job Location: Dayton, OH
Must have: TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph
The role involves assisting with time-dominant tool transition, OPIR, and Proliferated Constellation-based specialty projects. Domain expertise is vital, including knowledge of strategic threats, modern coding languages (Python, C++, Docker), agile development practices, and the ability to lead teams and create/deliver presentations to clients, end-users, and technical audiences.
You Have:
- 10+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, and implementing software applications using Agile methods
- 10+ years of experience in software development with programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
- Experience with Python coding
- Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
- Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing existing code
- Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation
- Experience mentoring or supervising within a cross-functional team
- Ability to work with automated testing tools for testing and maintenance
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or related Engineering field
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with containerization tools and techniques
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git, or similar tools
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or related Engineering field (preferred)
