In this team you will be working with our sophisticated financial software solutions. You will be the essential link between investment professionals and Fact Set's software. Combining a thorough understanding of finance and technology with specific expertise in the Fact Set platform, you will help clients streamline the research and analysis process. As part of this fantastic team, you will offer an unparalleled level of service along with insight into the intricacies and functionality of the Fact Set platform.

Fact Set's business is based on 3 main pillars:
Data, Software and Services. You will be part of the vital Services team that supplements the Data and Software business of our company.

• Working directly with our clients on designing, implementing and supporting various technical solutions including but not limited to ETL, processing and extracting of datasets and reporting.
• Familiar with all the functionalities of the product, including the different modules and methodologies, focusing more on its technical aspects such as:
  • System Architecture
  • Application Server setup
  • Database maintenance and performance optimization
  • Database development work for Oracle, MS SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Web Services & APIs
• Working with our global team of specialists, as well as interacting with our clients supporting them in their daily operations.
• Analyzing and solving complex technical issues related to a client's full stack.
• Directly collaborating with product & engineering teams.
• Understanding the financial logic behind the different modules and financial methodologies.

Required Skills:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related industry discipline.
• 1 - 3 years of professional experience in a relevant field, preferably in IT, finance, system administration, or programming
• Good communication skills in client-facing situations.
• Team Player.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken is a must.

Desired

Skills:

• SQL and Database experience.
• Sysadmin or programming experience.
• Any experience in Financial Reporting or Business Intelligence Systems.
• Interest in capital markets, portfolio management, financial instruments.
