**** Job Description
** Develop software and modeling solutions for AI-enabled camera silicon. This role supports the full software development lifecycle for standards-based real-time hardware video codecs. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance existing video codec technologies and contribute to the development of next-generation codec solutions.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Develop and optimize video codec algorithms focused on video quality, low latency, and hardware efficiency.
* Implement and maintain reference codec models.
* Collaborate on silicon architecture modeling and hardware/software co-design.
* Develop silicon verification and diagnostic tools.
* Design and maintain real-time product firmware.
* Implement and tune software rate control algorithms.
* Work with engineering teams to integrate and validate codec solutions.
** Required Skills
*** Strong programming skills in C and C++
* Embedded software development experience
* Familiarity with video compression standards (H.264, H.265/HEVC, AV1, or similar)
* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
* Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools to improve software design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation efficiency.
