Position: Airline Maintenance Director – Relocation Available

Overview

PSA Airlines is Growing in DAYTON, OH and PSA Airlines is immediately seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Controller to join our Dayton, OH team. The Maintenance Controller supports PSA Airlines by coordinating maintenance discrepancies and corrections on all operational aircraft to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • At the beginning of each shift, determine schedules, maintenance/inspections, unscheduled maintenance requirements, items awaiting maintenance, and available workforce.
  • Coordinate maintenance discrepancies and corrections for all operational aircraft; monitor mechanical problems on the line and strive to minimize maintenance recovery time.
  • Collect and enter flight delay and cancellation data into the M&E system to improve operational reliability.
  • Periodically review flight termination messages to determine if corrective action is sufficient; if not, initiate proper action to supply information and parts to stations as needed.
  • Coordinate parts, manpower requirements, and travel arrangements for field repairs; monitor field repairs and coordinate return of work crews and parts to their home base.
  • Ensure outstation maintenance documentation is complied with on PSA Airlines aircraft as required.
  • Coordinate with the Stores Department for the current status of AOG parts in progress for aircraft requiring repairs.
  • Monitor aircraft availability and coordinate equipment changes between Maintenance, Maintenance Planning, and Flight Control.
  • Maintain and monitor a current MEL List; review parts required and expedite to the appropriate maintenance base for correction as needed.
  • Coordinate with Dispatch and Maintenance Planning on MEL and CDL procedures and status.
  • Provide the MCM with any incident reports reported by Flight Control for completion of Service Difficulty Reports.
  • Maintain and monitor a Master Ferry Flight List, issuing numbers and permits as required.
  • Be responsible for the Company s Security and Safety Management System and related Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
  • May assume responsibilities of the Maintenance Control Duty Manager in their absence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Control Duty Manager or a designee.

PSA Aircraft Maintenance Controller Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current Airframe and Powerplant certification
  • At least 2 years of CRJ 700/900 or Part 121, 129, or 135 line maintenance experience
  • In good company standing
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
  • Must be able to demonstrate authorization to work in the US
  • Must be able to pass fingerprint-based criminal history records check
