As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. You will assist healthcare providers in delivering top-notch care while ensuring that patients feel comfortable, informed, and well-cared for.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care:
    Greet patients, take vitals (blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc.), and prepare them for examination.
  • Clinical Support:
    Assist with medical procedures, administer injections, perform basic lab tests, and prepare patients for diagnostic tests.
  • Documentation:
    Accurately record patient histories, symptoms, and other pertinent medical information in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Patient

    Education:

    Provide patients with information on treatment plans, medication instructions, and preventive care.
  • Front Desk Support:
    Schedule patient appointments, answer phone calls, manage patient intake, and verify insurance information.
  • Medical Supplies Management:
    Maintain and organize medical supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is stocked and ready for use.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a Medical Assistant training program is preferred.
  • Certification:
    Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience:

    1-2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but we are open to training motivated candidates.
  • Skills:

    Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems, basic computer skills, and knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods of time. Must be able to handle physical tasks related to patient care.
  • Interpersonal

    Skills:

    Friendly, compassionate, and able to work well in a team-oriented environment.
