Material Handler/Inventory Clerk

Pay:$19/hr.

Shift: Monday – Thursday (6am - 4:30pm); occasional overtime on Friday

Description:

• Assembles and routes jobs for the Production floor, loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, and fills production material needs by performing the following duties:

Requirements:

• 2+ years work experience in Warehouse and or Material Handling.
• 3-5 years experience with forklift and/or electrical powered devices operation for moving material.
• Must complete and pass a forklift safety program prior to performing tasks related to warehouse and ability to obtain certification
• Experience with Inventory Control and Tracking
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Familiar with SAP software

Job Duties:

• Follows Supervisor’s oral instructions and work schedule to move materials/containers to meet work orders
• Loads and unloads materials onto and/or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand and/or with equipment
• Locate and stock received material rotating the inventory by receipt date.
• Assist in maintaining the planning and production reports, manufacturing order shortages and change orders
• Assist in performing daily cycle count in the “stock count” module
• Maintaining inventory records related to inventory labels and tags, transfers, adjustments, variances, rejection tags, and balances
• Perform physical inventory yearly audits
• May assist in other areas as needed
• Keeps safe and clean work area
