Electrical Assembly Technician
Job DescriptionThe role involves integrating electrical components, subassemblies, products, or systems into various configurations. This includes wiring components together on a panel, board, or piece of equipment by reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
Responsibilities- Integrate electrical components, subassemblies, products, or systems into various configurations.
- Wire components together on panels, boards, or pieces of equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics accurately.
- Measure, cut, strip, and crimp electrical wire.
- Mount and assemble electrical components such as transformers, contractors, relays, and controllers.
- Assemble and attach hardware like caps, clamps, knobs, and switches.
- Utilize measuring tools to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch.
- Operate common hand tools effectively.
- Experience with wiring, schematic reading, crimping, cutting, and stripping wire.
- Experience with wiring harnesses, fans, and components on panels, boards, and rails.
- Experience with electrical assembly, including mounting and assembling electrical components.
- Ability to use measuring tools and read a tape measure to 1/8th inch.
- Proficiency in using common hand tools.

Work EnvironmentWork in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility. The dress code includes jeans, safety boots, and a work shirt. The site is set to expand soon, reflecting the company’s quick-paced growth. The 1st Shift schedule runs from Monday to Thursday, with 10-hour shifts from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, and optional overtime available on Fridays, occasionally mandatory.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 – $18.50/hr.
