What You’ll Build and DoFollow defined work instructions to put together mechanical support assemblies with precision and care.
Hit daily production targets without compromising safety or quality.
Operate JIB cranes to lift, move, and position components safely and efficiently.
Keep your area organized—assist with replenishment, parts flow, and 5S sustainment.
Fabricate per blueprints and shop drawings; verify fit, form, and function.
Continuously sharpen your craft to become a world-class assembler.
Use appropriate PPE and follow all tool safety requirements.
Document quality through accurate In-Process Inspections and required paperwork.
Support teammates by flexing to other lines or departments when needed.
Take on additional tasks as directed by your supervisor.
Who You Report ToYou’ll report to a Team Leader, Station Leader, or another assigned supervisor within the Assembly department.
Your Toolkit Math you actually use: add, subtract, multiply, divide; work with fractions and convert to decimals.
Measuring mastery with tape measure, micrometer, and protractor.
Blueprint and reference drawing literacy.
Clear English communication—written and spoken.
Hands-on skill with drills, nail guns, impact wrenches, and other small power tools.
Accurate completion of In-Process Inspections and related documentation.
JIB crane operation backed by required certification.
Material handling experience with pallet jacks, lift trucks, and JIB cranes.
Solid knowledge of safety standards and consistent adherence.
Preferred Background Assembler experience in a high-volume environment
Hands-on JIB crane experience
Large plant assembly exposure

WORKING CONDITIONS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk up to 80% of the time.
Employee will also be required to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, sit and reach on a regular basis during a normal working shift This position requires frequent lifting up to 50 pounds. Exposures include elevated noise levels associated with a manufacturing environment, fluctuations in temperature ambient conditions as well as intermittent exposure to the weather in and about the yard and dock areas.
Working hours can include any of three shifts and generally are scheduled for forty hours a week. Some weekend overtime is to be expected.
