Paramedic – Allegiance Mobile Health, Dayton, TX and Liberty County, TX

Allegiance Mobile Health is hiring Paramedics (EMT-P) for a 7-on/7-off schedule. Applicants should be skilled, experienced EMT‑Ps who can provide advanced life support in both emergency and non‑emergency settings.

Provide advanced life support care in high‑stress environments, lead patient assessment, perform advanced interventions, administer medications, interpret EKGs, and ensure safe transport to healthcare facilities.

Hourly employment starting salary ranges from $40,000 to $63,000 per year, based on certification level, experience and schedule rotation.

• Respond to emergency and non‑emergency calls 24/7 and drive a variety of emergency vehicles in all road conditions.
• Navigate using map books and verbal directions to respond efficiently and safely.
• Comply with all departmental, local, and state driving laws and policies.
• Use communication equipment to liaise with dispatch, EMS crews, first responders, and other organizations.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in a constant state of readiness and cleanliness.
• Complete daily vehicle and supply checklists and assist with resupply, decontamination, and general readiness tasks.
• Report in writing any discrepancies with vehicles, supplies, or equipment.
• Provide direct patient care per Medical Director’s authorization and protocols.
• Demonstrate clinical competency in all patient care instances.
• Use physical skill to lift, carry, transport, and extricate patients as needed.
• Interact with external agencies such as Police, Fire, and First Responder Organizations.
• Deliver professional customer service in all contacts.
• Accurately complete patient care reports, billing information, and other documentation.
• Work under physically and psychologically taxing conditions (inclement weather, temperature extremes, hazardous environments, loud noises, high‑stress situations).
• Accept exposure to blood‑borne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, sharp objects, and fall/trip hazards.
• Complete departmental skills evaluation and NEOP process before staffing a truck.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

• Lift up to 125 lbs (250 lbs with assistance).
• Demonstrate flexibility (bend from waist, touch toes, squat, kneel).
• Perform repetitive lifting, squatting, stooping, kneeling.
• Climb 20 sets of stairs within 60 seconds.
• Show fine manual dexterity for clinical skills (IV, intubation, etc.).
• Have correctable vision adequate for street signs, low light, and small print.

• Use good judgment and remain calm in high‑stress situations.
• Maintain a positive attitude in adversity.
• Have good interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Function under extreme fatigue, temperatures, and inclement weather.

• High school graduate or GED.
• Certified paramedic in Texas.
• CPR certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Pre‑Hospital Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).
• Effective communication in English.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and insurability.
