Overnight Valet Attendant – Daytona Beach, FL

Position details:
Reports directly to the Guest Service Coordinator.
Schedule:
Full Time / Part-Time. Status:
Non-Exempt. Compensation: $15.00 per hour plus daily cash tips. Rates can vary by market; tips based on service performance and customer interactions.
- Vehicle inspections:
Check for damage and record vehicle details on claim tickets. - Safely park and retrieve vehicles; follow key handling procedures and all safety guidelines.
- Clock in/out for shifts and breaks on time; report tips accurately.
- Keep the valet area clean, organized, and presentable.
- Provide customer service and teamwork: handle guest concerns politely, solve problems quickly, and support a positive team environment.
- Attend to attendance and professionalism: arrive on time, in full uniform, and ready to work; follow all company rules and policies.
- Assist with additional duties as needed to support daily operations.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED required. - Experience:
Previous customer service experience preferred; a helpful attitude and strong customer service mindset essential. - Licenses & Background:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; acceptable motor vehicle record (no more than 3 moving violations within 3 years); clean background check required. - Other:
No special certifications required.
- Hospitality, customer service & communication: deliver exceptional guest service with professional communication and active listening.
- Organizational support & adaptability: follow policies, adapt to changing environments, manage multiple responsibilities, stay flexible.
- Dependability & safety: follow instructions, maintain schedules, adhere to safety guidelines, report unsafe conditions, use equipment properly.
- Stand, walk, run short distances, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Work in varied weather conditions; maintain professional appearance and uniform standards.
- Evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; indoor/outdoor work in parking garages and active traffic areas.
- Regular interaction with team members, clients, vendors, and guests; use of phones/radios; operation of moving vehicles.
- May use personal cell phone for work-related communication; reimbursement provided per company policy.
