General & Functional Neurosurgeon

Advent Health Daytona Beach and Advent Health Medical Group (AHMG) are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurosurgeon to join their established and well-rounded Neurosurgery program in coastal Florida. This role offers a full-scope neurosurgery practice with a mix of craniotomy, spinal cases, minimally invasive procedures, and functional neurosurgery. Providers will work alongside a group of five experienced surgeons supported by a dedicated Neuro ICU, APP coverage, and group call.

Practice Info

• Full-scope Neurosurgery
• Mix of craniotomy, spinal cases, minimally invasive, and endoscopic procedures
• Open surgery, microsurgery, and peripheral nerve
• Functional Neurosurgery including treatment of movement disorders, Parkinson's disease, and epilepsy through Deep Brain Stimulation and other appropriate therapies
• Dedicated Neuro ICU with epilepsy monitoring
• Stereotactic surgery
• APP support both inpatient and outpatient, including weekend and night coverage
• Additional operating rooms being added in 2026
• Group call coverage
• Not a trauma hospital

Responsibilities

• Help enhance and cultivate the program throughout the East Florida Division
• Provide treatment of movement disorders, Parkinson's disease, and epilepsy through Deep Brain Stimulation and other appropriate therapies
• Help advance Advent Health into a world-class Neurosurgery destination
