We are seeking Flight Simulation Software Engineers (Experienced and Senior) to join our team in Daytona Beach, FL.

The roles will involve software development for tools and models within our simulation infrastructure in the Flight Simulation Labs organization. Selected candidates will be aligned to a statement of work that best suits their interests and skillset, some of which could include:

• Creating core simulation infrastructure to serve as a jumping‑off point for programs developing flight simulation capabilities
• Developing tools to simulate, monitor, and control digital messages between subsystems in a lab environment
• Supporting modeling of various aircraft capabilities, including the ability to run constructive scenarios in a testing environment for product development and training support

Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels, including Experienced and Senior Level Software Engineers.

This position might require frequent business travel (20–30%) to St. Louis, MO for the first three months of employment.

• Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
• Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system
• Supports development of simulation environments to support testing performed by Mission Systems engineers
• Works on an agile team to accomplish team goals
• Executes and documents software research and development projects
• Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security Clearance post‑start.

• Experience as a Software Engineer
• 2+ years of professional experience programming in C++

• Bachelor’s, Master or Doctor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
• Experienced Level: 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Senior Level: 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in the defense or avionics industry
• Experience with requirements writing
• Knowledge of basic networking principles
• Experience working on an Agile team using Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work in a multi‑tasking environment while supporting multiple concurrent activities
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
