Vascular Technologist | Surgery - Halifax

Functions as a team member of the Vascular Diagnostics Laboratory, providing prompt, accurate, thorough non-invasive vascular testing in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner. This role facilitates appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic treatment of vascular-related disorders. Responsible for delivering high-quality, accurate non-invasive vascular examinations and assisting in the daily operation of the laboratory.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Successful completion of an accredited Vascular Technology program. ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS eligible. One year of experience preferred.

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.

Note:

A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile at least once daily, at least five individual trips per week, or drives over 150 miles per week on average in the performance of his/her job.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS) required within 12 months of hire. BLS Certification.
