The Orthopedic Clinic Surgery Center is seeking an enthusiastic and driven candidate with previous experience in a fast‑paced clinic setting to join our dynamic team as a Radiologic Technologist
.
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will:
- Apply radiology knowledge to patients to relieve anxieties, provide treatment explanations, and answer questions.
- Use critical thinking to position patients, turning and lifting those with restricted mobility.
- Minimize radiation doses to patient and staff using ALARA principles, beam‑restrictive devices, patient shielding, and awareness of exposure factors.
- Verify physician orders and diagnoses, ensuring documentation matches and selecting the correct ICD‑10 code for x‑ray orders.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Communicate closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient care with accurate positioning and anatomy for proper imaging views.
- Clean imaging rooms in preparation for the next patient.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program.
- Valid ARRT certification.
- Licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EPM, and EHR software (preferably Athena).
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
