• Maintain working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services, including drug distribution systems, central operations, and IV admixture
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast‑paced environment
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times
• Correctly inform and instruct patients on any drugs to be used after discharge
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement

• Successful completion of all educational requirements mandated for state licensure
• Current state licensure required
• BLS if required by state

• Pharm D, BS Pharm, or advanced degree, and completion of a hospital pharmacy residency
