Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

We’re looking for a reliable, compassionate caregiver to support a 28‑year‑old young man who enjoys being out in the community. He’s looking for someone to provide companionship and community outings. If you’re dependable, have a warm personality, this could be a great fit. Reliable transportation is important. This is an independent contract position and pays $15.25 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday flexible schedule

• Have a positive outlook and contagious energy
• Demonstrate patience and compassion

• Encourage and support the individual during home activities
• Support with personal hygiene
• Meal/snack preparation and feeding assistance
• Ensure individual's safety and maintain a safe living environment
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training
• Have proof of a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older
