Florida Health Care Plans is seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Developer (BID) to join our Actuarial team. In this role, you will design and create analytics solutions that leverage your in-depth knowledge of operational systems. Your expertise will enable you to develop reports that address key business questions and enhance decision-making across our organization, with a primary focus on the Epic system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement analytics solutions based on operational system usage.
• Collaborate with end users to understand their report needs and usage patterns.
• Utilize technical skills to author reports and provide meaningful data visualizations.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Business Intelligence Developer, Data Analyst, or similar roles.
• Epic Cogito Certification or commitment to achieve within six months of hire.
• Certification in an Epic data model (Revenue, Clinical, or Access) preferred within six months of hire.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to answer business questions using data.
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
• Prior experience with Epic systems is a must.
