Position:Workday Lead
NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join as a Workday Lead. This role is part of the Workday team, providing expert advice and oversight.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Supporting Compensation with the design of the annual compensation cycle
- Designing and supporting HCM with the annual performance review and goal processes
- Resolving complex Talent and Compensation issues
- Deploying new Talent and Compensation features
- Supporting weekly and annual processing, compliance, and end-of-year deliverables
- Managing and ensuring the security of the Workday application
- Maintaining business processes
- Serving as a point of escalation for complex Workday issues
- Cross-training and assigning tasks to Workday Analysts
- Overseeing Analysts and AMS consultants
- Advising on Workday tenant best practices and enhancements
- Staying updated on Workday capabilities, trends, and best practices
- Developing and maintaining custom reports and dashboards
- Creating and loading EIBs for configuration and mass data changes
- Monitoring for suspicious activities
- Reviewing and correcting processes in the Smart Audit tool
- Setting clear expectations with teams and stakeholders
- Identifying root causes of issues and collaborating on solutions
- Providing status updates and communication
- Partnering with business leaders to improve Workday usability
- Managing Workday release updates
- Willingness to acquire Workday Pro certifications
- Supporting integrations with Workday and external systems
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or college
- 3+ years of Workday functional experience; certification preferred
- Familiarity with Service Now or other ITSM products is a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Leadership qualities with ownership mindset
- Customer-focused approach: patience, empathy, responsiveness
- Knowledge transfer capabilities
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, project management, and effective communication
- Ability to handle inquiries or complaints professionally
