Opportunity

The Director of Marketing Projects and Brand Management oversees the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing initiatives and manages the university brand within the colleges. The role ensures consistent and effective representation of the brand across all marketing channels, manages workflow, prioritization, and the delivery of marketing projects, and collaborates cross‑functionally to align activities with institutional goals, strengthen brand visibility, and drive high‑quality project execution.

  • Lead and oversee intake and evaluation of all project requests submitted to the Marketing team.
  • Assess each request’s strategic value and determine alignment with departmental priorities.
  • Communicate with requestors for non‑strategic requests and suggest alternative deliverables.
  • For approved projects, engage requestors to clarify objectives, develop plans and timelines, and define success metrics, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with marketing project coordinators for timeline development and project tracking.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients and stakeholders, reporting progress, issues, and scope changes.
  • Use Teamwork Desk and Teamwork Projects to coordinate tasks and manage workflows.
  • Establish project deliverable schedules and monitor progress to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality completion.
  • Act as liaison with vendors, support contract initiation and renewal processes, and ensure compliance with university guidelines.
  • Oversee submission of materials to vendors, publishers, and university outlets upon project completion.
  • Conduct post-project debriefs to capture lessons learned and inform continuous improvement.
  • Lead a team of College Brand Managers to amplify college visibility and strengthen reputation aligned with strategic goals.
  • Ensure College Brand Managers execute annual reports, earned and social media presence, speaker series promotion, Industry Advisory Board communications, marketing content development, coordination, and website updates.

  • Required Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Business, or related field.

    • Marketing & Brand Management Expertise – deep knowledge of marketing principles, brand strategy, integrated communications, higher-education branding best practices, brand consistency across colleges.
