As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will mentor junior technicians and grow in the role.

Key Responsibilities- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
- Maintain a positive working relationship across all Amazon Operations facilities.
- Move up to 49 lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
- 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- 2+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment.
- 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- 2+ years of demonstrating safety standards.
- 1+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE).
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience.
- Experience with MHE safety standards accordance with OEM and safety standards.
