NASCAR Foundation seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Development Manager based in our Daytona Beach, Florida office.
Duties- Develop and execute an annual plan for the Individual/Major Donor Giving Program, including day-to-day management of individual giving moves, management, and major donor prospecting.
- Lead major donor giving initiatives to maximize fundraising opportunities through donor solicitation and cultivation. Research prospective donors, and compile data and reports from the Foundation database and other sources to support the cultivation process.
- Develop a grant funding strategy to secure corporate, foundation or individual gifts to support Foundation programs. Grant writing and submission as necessary to secure funds.
- Utilize, input and manage the Aegis database which houses constituent data, with the ability to enter and extract data as needed to perform job duties.
- Manage and execute fundraising events for the Foundation, including High Speed Hold Em Poker Tournament and Over the Edge At ONE DAYTONA. Additional event duties as assigned.
- Travel throughout the NASCAR Season for fundraising and event execution (up to 25%), including weekends.
- Bachelor s degree (B.
A.) from a four-year college or university and two to three years of fundraising, sales, marketing, administration and/or related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Proficient with Company-provided hardware and software. Experience in Bernard Software.
- Must possess a passion for fundraising and demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain productive, mutually beneficial relationships with management, professional staff, third-party partners, vendors, corporate sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
- Ability to multi-task; handle communications, logistics and follow-through on multiple events/programs concurrently.
