The Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs is seeking motivated, dynamic individuals for the position of Senior Licensed Practical Nurse at Emory L. Bennett Memorial State Veterans' Nursing Home in Daytona Beach, Volusia County. This position offers an annual salary of $50,960.78 and multiple shifts are available, including overtime eligibility.

Minimum qualifications include willingness and ability to work weekends and holidays, licensure as a Practical Nurse, one year of experience in providing practical nursing services, current CPR certification, and knowledge in the use of computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred qualifications include experience in medication administration in a skilled nursing facility and one year of experience in a long-term care facility working with a geriatric population.

Position description involves providing quality care for veteran residents, administering medications and treatments per MD order, monitoring and providing interventions, completing accurate clinical documentation, supervising CNA and other supportive caregivers, and participating in continuing educational programs for self-development and quality improvement.
