MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Welcome all customers and set expectations.
- Custom‑fit glasses and precisely place prescription lenses.
- Act as a leader in optical acumen.
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
- Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
- Use technology efficiently despite time pressure and customer volume; demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and use appropriate tools.
- Proactively explore root causes of issues, think forward, ensure customer satisfaction and exceed expectations, and drive solutions.
- Multi‑task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities.
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
- Maintain store appearance, keep the store clean, attractive and organized.
- Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
- Resourcefully and self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement and results.
- Adhere to company policies & procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- State licensure.
- Optical dispensing experience.
- Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Awareness of current fashion trends.
- Selling skills – ability to use & carry an iPad/tablet.
- Familiarity with POS, computers & calculators.
- Embrace new technology & change.
- Previous customer service & retail experience.
