Insurance Sales Agent - Daytona Beach, FL

What You’ll Do As An Insurance Sales Agent
  • Sell and service ACG branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within an ACG branch.
  • Use sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer needs and generate new sales, retain insureds, and grow the book of business.
  • Overcome objections to close the sale or retain the insured.
  • Meet or exceed targets defined in the sales incentive plan.
  • Conduct insurance reviews, assess risk, recommend appropriate products, quote, bind and issue policies.
  • Participate in local branch events to solicit new business and expand networks.
  • Build rapport to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty to the AAA brand.
  • Respond to inquiries related to insurance, memberships, and financial products.
  • Refer members to other lines of business when appropriate.
We Are Looking For Candidates Who

Required Qualifications:
  • Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
  • Active State Life Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments
  • Obtain Health and Accident licenses where applicable within the established time frame
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
  • 1+ year of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer-automated environment (e.g., financial/banking)
Successful Candidates Will Possess
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to develop, track, follow up on, and close leads
  • Consultative selling with thorough product knowledge
  • Strong prospecting skills and excellent verbal/written communication
  • Ambition, motivation, and drive
  • Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to understand customer needs
Work Environment

Work in a temperature-controlled branch location with possible irregular hours and weekend work. Travel to local branch events may be required.
