Carpenter This individual will be responsible for designing and constructing cabinets, remodeling interior construction and the requisition of supplies and equipment.

- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.  - A minimum of seven (7) years in the trade; consisting of five years in the field, two in which in hospital related construction.  - Two years of cabinet design and fabrications.  - Knowledge of blueprint reading.  - Ability to communicate with department managers and supervisors on the design stage of the cabinet making.  

- Supervise others in the design and installation phases of construction.  - Ability to operate and maintain carpentry tools including table saw, radial saw, router, jointer and other power tools as well as key-making equipment.  - Experience in other related construction trades such as experience in drywall and concrete finishing, concrete form work and masonry.  - Designs and constructs cabinets including:  - Custom design cabinets and counter tops  - Fits and installs cabinets and counter tops  - Repairs and modifies existing cabinets and furniture   - Coordinates with other trades when required  - Supervise remodeling of existing and additional interior construction of walls, doors and ceilings including:  - Demolition  - Prepare for remodeling  - Construction of metal stud wall frame work  - Install drywall  - Installs doors, windows and hardware  - Constructs metal studs and frame work for grid ceiling  - Installs grid ceiling and hanging wire  - Constructs and installs handrails  - Install all room trim and accessories
