HVAC Technician – Telecom Shelters (Daytona Beach, FL)
Pearce, the nation’s leading independent service provider for critical telecommunication and renewable energy infrastructure, is seeking experienced HVAC technicians to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell‑tower sites. This regional position is based in the Daytona Beach, Florida area.
Core Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace or install components of entire cooling systems.
- Perform performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Execute maintenance or upgrades on out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls, including emergency call‑outs, in a timely manner.
- Complete daily work reports accurately and promptly.
- Operate and maintain a vehicle safely and legally in accordance with PEARCE policy and insurance requirements.
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified – required.
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including email correspondence.
- Must reside in the Daytona Beach, Florida area.
- Available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on an occasional basis.
- Extensive daily travel within an independent work structure; overnight stays may be required (company pays travel and provides per diem).
- Driving to remote work sites as needed.
- Work outdoors in ambient temperatures; lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). hourly (DOE). Compensation is influenced by skill set, experience, and location. Employees may also receive performance bonuses, referral incentives, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, a company vehicle, per diem, or other applicable compensation.What We Offer
