Second Shift Engineer Hilton Daytona

Hilton Daytona Beach is seeking a skilled and reliable Second Shift Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work the 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift and be responsible for maintaining the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems of the hotel to ensure a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for our guests and staff.

• Perform routine mechanical maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems.
• Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
• Handle basic plumbing tasks including repairs and maintenance.
• Perform painting and drywall repairs to maintain the appearance and integrity of hotel facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies during the second shift.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to management.

• Proven mechanical experience in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and repairs.
• Basic plumbing skills and experience.
• Experience with painting and drywall repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the second shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
