We are seeking an Associate Cost Accountant, to join our Finance team based in our De Pere, WI office. The Associate Cost Accountant supports the company’s cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial close processes to help ensure accurate, complete, and timely product costs, inventory balances, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role partners with Supply Chain Finance, Plant Finance, Operations, and other cross‑functional teams to maintain accurate standard costs, analyze cost and inventory activity, investigate variances, and provide financial information that supports operational and business decisions.

The Associate Cost Accountant also assists with process improvements, system-related initiatives, internal controls, audits, annual planning, and the annual standard cost roll.

• Perform monthly close activities related to cost accounting and inventory, including preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, analyzing account activity, investigating reconciling items, and preparing supporting documentation.
• Maintain and analyze standard costs for new and existing materials and products, working with appropriate business partners to identify incomplete, inaccurate, or unusual costing information.
• Support inventory accounting and reporting, including preparing inventory reserve calculations, capitalized variance calculations, cycle count monitoring and reporting, and monthly reporting and analysis of inventory balances and activity.
