Description

Straight 3rd shift. Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6am. Overtime hours will be required both during the week and on some weekends.

Responsibilities

The qualified candidate is preferred but not required to have knowledge in the following areas:

  • AC/DC wiring methods
  • AC/DC drives/motors/ VFD's & servo motors
  • PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, B&R, Beckhoff)
  • HMI
  • Mechanical systems (bearing, alignment, chains, belts)
  • Pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Design and fabricating is a plus but not required
  • Preventive & predictive maintenance on production machinery
  • Mill and Lathe experience is a plus but not required
  • Fanuc/Robot experience is a plus
  • Experience using a CMMS system
  • Conveyor systems

The following are the job tasks and responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician:

  • Works safely and follows all related policies and programs to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Reads blueprints, diagrams, electrical schematics, and hydraulic drawings to determine work requirements.
  • Installs, aligns, dismantles, and moves stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, tanks, and conveyors according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
  • Inspects and examines machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Adjusts machinery and troubleshoots defective parts.
  • Operates hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, and forklifts to position machinery and parts during installation, setup, and repair.
  • Performs routine maintenance and preventative work on machinery, including cleaning and lubricating.
  • Performs other job tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications

All candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have or be working towards a minimum of a 2-year associate degree.
