Responsibilities
- Utilize MIG and/or TIG for welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Finish parts (straighten, grind, polish, wipe down, etc.) per spec on print or lead’s instruction.
- Read and interpret customer drawings.
- Produce quality, error free parts with precision on customer specifications.
- Review traveler/prints to determine what needs to be fabricated/welded.
- Read blueprints, tape measure, and caliper.
- Double check parts to spec before and after fabricating, then have another approved person check.
- Be able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment while completing jobs in allotted time frames.
- Have great communication skills and be detail oriented.
- Can demonstrate welding/fabricating knowledge and skill
- Food grade polishing experience is a plus.
- At least 1 year of blueprint reading (preferred)
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking with frequent pulling, pushing, lifting, & bending.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- All personal protective equipment must be worn where necessary (i.e. safety glasses, shoes, etc.).
- High School or equivalent preferred
- Starting at $18- $28/hour (based on knowledge and experience)
- 8-10 hour shifts
- Monday-Friday
