Saw Operator

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Reviews cut lists as provided by production leads
• Determines the cutting time required for each job
• Verifies the material, thickness, length, and grade is correct.
• Cuts parts to specifications.
• Stages parts as specified in compliance with Standard Conventions.
• Accurately tracks and documents time spent cutting each job.
• Keeps area clean and organized.
• Communicates with Leads on any discrepancies on parts
• Assists other areas from time to time as directed.

• Materials/Tooling understanding and application of best practices

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking with frequent pulling, pushing, lifting, & bending.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds daily.
• All personal protective equipment must be worn where necessary (i.e. safety glasses, shoes, etc.)

Education:

• High School or equivalent preferred

Salary:

• Starting at $18-$24/hour (based on knowledge and experience)

Schedule:

• 8-10 hour shifts
• Monday-Friday
• Daytime
