- Operate drilling equipment to complete assigned projects
- Complete drilling in both standard and high‑risk areas, including live utilities
- Maintain a working knowledge of utility depths and placements
- Ensure vehicles, equipment, and tools are properly maintained, in good repair, and secured safely
- Review field designs, communicate discrepancies to supervisors for change orders
- Properly document work completed, including pothole and bore logs
- Perform conduit splicing, vault/pedestal placement, and fiber/coax placement as needed
- Complete general restoration and cleanup
- Complete all projects with safety as the #1 priority, ensuring compliance with internal safety standards and all governmental orders
- Other duties as assigned
- 3+ years of directional drilling experience required
- Ability to travel daily, work outside of business hours when necessary, and work overtime, holidays, evenings, weekends, and all seasons
- Excellent customer service, time management, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills
- High level of energy, motivation, and attention to detail
- Ability to multi‑task, shifting from one task to another without interruption
- Ability to work with a noise level from moderate to loud
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs as needed
- Ability to work outdoors in tight spaces or elevated areas, bending, reaching, twisting, and climbing in all weather conditions year‑round
- Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains and manage equipment, safety equipment, and tools
- Must provide a valid government‑issued photo verification; a driver’s license required if the role involves driving
- Class A CDL required
- Passing all pre‑employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
