Emergency Roadside Specialist 2nd Shift – De Pere, WI
WEL Companies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Emergency Roadside Specialist to support drivers during breakdowns, emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances.
Position SummarySupport drivers on the road during breakdowns, emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances.
Essential Functions- Provide support and information to drivers and contractors maintenance emergencies utilizing phone, mobile messaging, email, etc.
- Coordinate with scheduler to ensure equipment is routed and scheduled in the shop for preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor the progress of repairs and make updates as needed.
- Support other ERS team as needed.
- Perform invoice & EFS check reconciliation when requested by manager.
- Closing Datadis / MIR transactions.
- Inform WEL Operations daily of equipment and location status.
- Negotiate repair and labor costs with vendors.
- Work with drivers and operations to establish areas of improvement and contribute to team efforts and goals.
- Ensure quality and productivity goals are met.
- Assist safety and operations during emergencies and/or accidents.
- Maintain up-to-date training, standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, resources, vendor lists, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education- High School Diploma or equivalent; required
- 1+ year of relevant experience; required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows.
- Ability to learn and use propriety software.
- Datadis /MIR experience, a plus
- AS400 experience, a plus
- Leads with integrity.
- Heavy Truck & Trailer knowledge a plus
- Strong and impactful communication skills; verbal and written.
- Strong ability to multitask.
- Strong personal accountability.
Position requires physical activities ranging from light lifting of less than 10 pounds to occasional lifting over 100 pounds, pushing and pulling, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing as described in the original physical demands section.
Work EnvironmentAn office environment in a controlled atmosphere building.
