Safety Coordinator, CDL License role at Paper Transport
We are looking for a team player to coordinate and assist with the onboarding of new drivers and to complete or coordinate administrative work that coincides with our new hire process for drivers and for drivers on an ongoing basis for safety and compliance adherence. You will assist in creating a team atmosphere where members feel valued and create a positive working relationship with both drivers and multiple functional office teams.
EssentialFunctions/Specific Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with new and existing drivers and teams through integrity and accountability
- Complete I9s, scan documents to DQ files, complete employment verifications and remedial training for new drivers.
- Complete compliance checks and driver qualifications reviews.
- Collaborate with the Safety and the Compliance departments to meet service expectations and standards.
- Successfully track driver training in the LMS and analyze reports for completion.
- Assigning additional training through the LMS system as directed by the Safety Managers.
- Assist with yard training for new drivers
- Assist with orientation onboarding and appropriate hand offs.
- Assist with hours of service compliance and adherence.
- Assist with any other safety, compliance or other items as deemed necessary by management.

- Valid CDL Class A license
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of transportation experience preferred
- 1 year of computer/administrative working experience preferred
- Hourly rate is between $23.00-$27.00 depending upon experience
