Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Manager, you will lead and inspire a large team to ensure optimal performance of manufacturing assets and facilities. You’ll drive a proactive maintenance culture, focusing on preventive and predictive strategies to meet and exceed production demands. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, you will implement continuous improvements, manage KPIs, control costs, and foster team development through training and performance reviews.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage, establish, and communicate directions and priorities for maintenance team.
  • Drive maintenance and reliability initiative focused on preventive and predictive rather than reactive maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain department KPI and goals, monitoring for efficiencies, labor cost, and other department expenses.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to manage, maintain and establish maintenance procedures for production lines to ensure demand targets are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain manufacturing assets and facility, parts inventory, monitoring purchase orders, invoice approvals.
  • Provide training and continuous development to both direct and indirect team members.
  • Conduct periodic reviews for team performance and actively engage in team member development.
  • Actively promote continuous improvement culture within maintenance areas (floor support, schedulers, MRO planners, and leadership).
  • Solid track record of safety improvements through behavioral based safety hazard identification and risk assessment.
  • Establish work with solid AC+R process (Asset Care and Reliability).

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

  • To ensure health and safety in the workplace and for employee protection, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator. A respirator fit test will be required based on functional area.

Qualifications:
Required and/or Preferred

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial automation or robotics; or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in engineering, industrial automation or robotics.

Essential

Qualifications:

  • Maintenance management experience at a minimum of 5+ years in high‑volume manufacturing setting.
  • Lean Six Sigma, continuous process improvement experience.
  • Computer skills equivalent to warehouse management systems, ERP/SAP experience and MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
