Role:
Laboratory Technician I responsible for the timely and accurate execution of regulated clinical laboratory tests for lung disease diagnosis within a CLIA-certified environment.
The role encompasses cross-functional interactions and may involve weekend, holiday, and evening shifts due to the 7-day lab operation.
Responsibilities- Performing test procedures
- Data entry into LIMS
- Equipment maintenance
- SOP adherence
- Contributing to audit readiness
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in a laboratory science or related field, with experience in high-complexity testing preferred
- Technical proficiency with lab equipment such as HPLC, LC-MS, or ELISA is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail, knowledge of GLP and lab safety, and basic computer skills
- Experience in regulated diagnostics
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance
- Prior exposure to molecular testing modalities
The role emphasizes quality, accuracy, and compliance in a diagnostics environment focused on lung disease testing. Expected to support CAP/CLIA and state-specific lab standards.
Work setup: on-site in De Soto, KS, with potential for weekend and holiday hours, and includes thorough onboarding and training.
