Customer Service Representative Job De Soto area,Kansas USA,Supply Chain/Logistics

Create and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for required products and materials.
Track orders and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
Monitor existing orders and coordinate expedited or delayed shipments as needed.
Enter and update received orders in the inventory management system.
Review inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment recommendations.
Communicate with vendors and customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and product availability.
Assist with invoice reconciliation and resolve purchase order or accounts payable discrepancies.
Research vendors and product options to support quality, pricing, and delivery requirements.
Coordinate returns or replacements for damaged, defective, excess, or expired inventory.
Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and order records.
Support inventory reporting, performance metrics, and cost-saving initiatives.
Collaborate with on-site Storeroom Attendants and follow established safety and operating procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field.
Experience creating and tracking purchase orders.
Familiarity with SAP, Infor SX.e, ERP, or inventory management systems.
Experience with vendor management, order processing, or invoice reconciliation.
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or storeroom environment.
A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
