Job Title: General Laborer

Employee Type: Full Time Hourly Non-Exempt

Reports to: Project Manager/Superintendent

Schedule: Monday-Friday; overtime on evenings and weekends if needed

Location: Desoto, KS

This role is with Remediation Services, Inc. (RSI), a nationwide environmental remediation contractor. RSI mobilizes its own workforce to provide remedial construction services and complies with applicable safety and training standards (29 CFR ). RSI is based in Independence, KS.

• Adhere to safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site-specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gear.
• Perform tasks associated with processing Non-Hazardous Waste.
• Operate light and heavy equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, forklifts and pressure washers.
• Wear a respirator as needed.

• Ability to operate light and heavy equipment.
• Hazwoper 40-hour certification (will provide training).
• Safety-oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies.
• Willingness to shave and wear respirator as needed.
• Ability to work well in a team environment; critical to team success.

• Six (6) months of previous labor experience.

• Performs labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift.
• Works in atmospheres with low clearance, confined spaces, and at heights.
