This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior fund finance leadership seat at the centre of a top-tier European private equity platform, in a role with genuine proximity to the investment engine and senior leadership.

The mandate sits within a flagship, closed-ended strategy investing across complex capital structures. This is not a reporting-led or back-office fund control role. It is a judgement-driven position where fund finance plays a central role in how capital is deployed, managed, and ultimately returned.

• Flagship exposure: The platform is strategically important and the work is visible. Standards are high, and the experience compounds quickly.
• Deal-driven fund finance: The most valuable work is tied to funding events, liquidity management, distributions, realisations, valuations, and complex structuring — not BAU process.
• Full lifecycle responsibility: Oversight across vehicles at different stages, including new fund launches and funds moving into mid-realisations.
• Senior judgement over production: The role is focused on oversight, quality, stakeholder management, and complex decision-making rather than day-to-day processing.
• Real influence: The person in seat has genuine ownership over fund governance, reporting quality, operating model design, and how the platform scales over time.

You will act as the senior point of control across a portfolio of closed-ended private equity funds, with responsibility spanning:

• Fund financial control, governance, and investor reporting
• Oversight of administrators, auditors, boards, and advisors
• Capital flows across investments and divestments
• Liquidity, treasury, and facility management
• LPA and side-letter compliance
• Valuation oversight and judgement documentation
• Performance analysis, returns and carry mechanics
• Leading and developing teams across multiple locations
• Driving process improvement and operating-model evolution

This is a role for someone comfortable operating in the grey areas where technical expertise, commercial judgement, and stakeholder credibility intersect.

This opportunity is aimed squarely at senior private equity fund finance professionals who:

This role is positioned at senior leadership level, with a base salary in the £140k–£150k range plus a consistently paid bonus, strong pension, and genuine hybrid working. There is pragmatism around bonus timing and flexibility for the right profile.
