We're partnering with a leading private equity-backed asset management business experiencing increased deal activity and seeking an experienced Interim Deal Support Manager to provide additional resource across the execution of multiple transactions.
This is an ideal opportunity for a strong Transaction Services / Deals professional looking to move into a more hands-on, in-house role. Working closely with the CFO, senior leadership team and transaction advisers, you will support the business across the deal lifecycle and help ensure transactions are executed efficiently and to demanding timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of multiple live transactions and deal work streams.
- Coordinate financial, commercial, operational and other transaction work streams.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisers throughout the deal process.
- Support due diligence, including preparation, analysis and management of information requests.
- Review and challenge transaction analysis, financial information and key deal assumptions.
- Coordinate data rooms, transaction materials and reporting.
- Track key milestones, risks, dependencies and actions across multiple deals.
- Support the preparation of management presentations, board materials and transaction updates.
- Liaise with legal, financial, tax and other external advisers.
- Provide additional project management and execution support across the wider deals function.
Candidate Profile
- Strong background in Transaction Services, Deals, M&A or Corporate Finance, ideally from a Big 4 or leading advisory firm.
- Experience supporting or executing multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of financial due diligence and the wider transaction lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical, project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple work streams and competing deadlines.
- Able to operate effectively with senior management and external advisers.
- Asset management, private equity or financial services experience highly desirable.
- Ideally looking to transition from professional services into an in-house deal execution role.
- Pragmatic, hands-on and commercially minded, with a strong focus on delivery.
