Global Solutions Architect - Large Deals

About the role

As a Global Deal Solutions Architect, you will make an impact by designing and leading transformational technology and business solutions for some of the world's largest and most complex outsourcing and digital transformation engagements. You will be a valued member of Cognizant's Global Large Deals Architecture team and work collaboratively with sales leaders, service line experts, delivery teams, pricing specialists, and client executives to develop compelling, competitive, and innovative proposals.

In this role, you will drive solution strategies for large-scale opportunities exceeding $50M TCV, helping clients modernize operations, accelerate digital transformation, and unlock business value through technology innovation.

• Lead end-to-end solution development for large, multi-service line transformation and outsourcing opportunities.
• Partner with client executives, business stakeholders, and technical leaders to define solution vision, transformation roadmaps, and target-state architectures.
• Develop differentiated solutions across applications, infrastructure, cloud, AI, GenAI, Agentic AI, and business process services.
• Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams of architects, domain experts, delivery leaders, pricing specialists, and operational stakeholders to create winning proposals.
• Present and defend solution strategies, transformation approaches, and business value propositions during executive presentations, workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and proposal orals.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring regular travel and collaboration with clients and Cognizant teams across the UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific regions, so the ideal candidate must be within a commutable distance from our London office.

• Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, large-deal solutioning, technology consulting, or digital transformation leadership.
• Proven success designing and winning large, complex outsourcing, managed services, cloud, applications, infrastructure, or business transformation engagements valued at $50M+.
• Strong expertise in modern technology domains including cloud platforms, AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, application modernization, and enterprise transformation.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary solution teams and coordinating across sales, delivery, operations, pricing, transition, and transformation functions.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-suite executives and senior business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, systems integration, data architecture, and large-scale technology ecosystems.
• Experience responding to RFPs, RFIs, solution proposals, commercial models, statements of work, and transformation roadmaps.
• Exceptional communication, executive presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working within Tier-1 consulting, professional services, or global system integrator organizations.
• Strong knowledge of industry trends across AI-driven transformation, cloud adoption, global capability centers, and intelligent operations.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, large-scale operating model transformations, or strategic outsourcing initiatives.
• Knowledge of Agile, Dev Sec Ops , platform engineering, and modern software delivery practices.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments while driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Established track record competing successfully against leading global technology and consulting providers.
