Senior Manager – The Deal Management and Technology (DMT) team is a part of the EY-Parthenon practice, which provides operational advice throughout the deal lifecycle from due diligence through to deal execution and value realisation.

Your key responsibilities- Lead engagements and work with cross‑functional teams in a high‑pressure environment.
- Due diligence analysis and report writing, focused on operational and IT considerations and their impact on transaction rationale.
- Design, planning and execution of integration and separation programmes.
- Design, planning and execution of strategic transformation programmes.
- Manage engagement economics and communicate significant issues, fees and progress to partners and clients.
- Coach junior team members and develop the team's intellectual capital.
- Engage in marketing efforts by building relationships with senior clients and enhancing the team's external brand.
- Financial Services expertise
: at least seven years in a financial services environment. - Change management
: proven track record in leading change initiatives, preferably in a transaction context. - Strategic insight
: awareness of trends in financial services and the M&A market. - Commercial acumen
: quickly understand key value drivers and use insights to influence solutions. - Quantitative and qualitative analysis
: apply sound analysis to understand how operational issues affect the investment case. - Operating model
: design operating models for financial services businesses. - Communication skills
: strong verbal and written communication, good listening. - Relationship management
: establish credibility with client teams as a peer. - Selling skills
: recognise opportunities and draw on other experts within the firm. - Cultural awareness
: awareness of different operating styles and cultures. - Political savvy
: navigate senior level politics to ensure successful delivery. - People management and teamwork
: coach and support individual development. - Strong academic track record, including a degree.
- Applicants should be able to deal with ambiguity and would benefit from international experience, transaction experience and foreign language skills.
- Form influential relationships on client accounts.
- Lead engagements delivering Deal Management or Strategic Transformation services.
- Support key client decision makers in developing and executing transaction strategy.
- Deliver high client satisfaction and drive additional engagements.
- Identify opportunities to improve client service within EY’s service offerings.
- Overall team performance on engagements.
- Supervise, coach and mentor junior staff.
- Contribute to people initiatives: recruiting, retaining, training.
- Maintain an educational programme for personal skill development.
- Communicate workplace policies to junior staff.
- Build internal relationships with other EY teams.
