To create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth of young children. The teacher will foster curiosity, independence, and a love of learning through play-based and structured activities, while building strong partnerships with families and collaborating with colleagues to support each child s success.

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement required
• Major or minor in Early Childhood Education or Child Growth & Development required
• ZA or ZS endorsement required
• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Monitor and document student progress and development
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student needs and progress
• Support positive behavior and social-emotional growth
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
• Adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
• Maintain classroom safety and organization
• Participate in IEP meetings and team collaboration as needed
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training
