• Transport laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sort and load soiled linen into washers and load clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceed to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keep accurate records of linen inventory
• Wash, dry, fold and distribute customer clothing
• Maintain equipment and laundry areas, keeping them clean, orderly, and safe
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Check stock and notify supervisor of supply needs
• Deliver laundry as specified
• Deliver customer service first: ensure that customers and families receive the highest quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
