Join the Behavior Technician role at Total Spectrum, LLC
.
The role involves helping children with autism develop communication, socialization, and self‑help skills through play‑based ABA therapy.
Benefits- Full‑time employees can earn up to 15 days of paid time off after 90 days of employment.
- Part‑time employees are eligible for sick leave.
- Part‑time, with potential to build to full‑time.
- Hours fall between 8 am‑7 pm EST Monday‑Friday, with possible weekend work.
- A few evenings per week until 7 pm will be required.
- Working with children aged 2‑22 with autism and special needs in their homes, schools, or at one of our centers.
- Earn starting pay at $18.00/hr and up with experience.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 on the first day of employment.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
- Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- A genuine desire to help children with autism and their families reach their goals.
- A steady supply of compassion, empathy, enthusiasm, kindness, goodwill, and reliability.
- A willingness to learn about autism, learning differences, and ABA.
- Bi‑lingual, with English/Spanish fluency.
- Studied, majored, or minored in psychology, education, special education, childcare, behavioral health, health science, or a related field.
- Experience working with children (babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher, coach, camp counselor, or other childcare).
- Gaining training and skills to support a career in behavior analysis, behavioral health, teaching, occupational therapy, speech‑language pathology, counseling, mental health, and parenting.
- Creating lasting, positive change for children and their families.
Physical requirements vary by client assignment. Employees may be asked to push, pull, lift up to 35 pounds, and move quickly. It is necessary to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.
