Senior Tax Accountant - Dearborn

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. This role involves a combination of tax compliance, accounting, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax and accounting, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit.

• Conduct accounting and financial statement preparation for various clients.
• Handle tax preparation for individual and business tax returns, sales tax reporting, and payroll processing.
• Assist in developing and implementing tax planning strategies.
• Collaborate with staff and managers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of client services.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and proactive advice.
• Support the training and development of staff members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or working towards CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in small business accounting with a focus on tax.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Experience with accounting, financial statement preparation, sales tax reporting, and payroll processing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technology skills, including proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• A proactive and client-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
