Overview
Ford Component Sales, LLC (FCS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company aligned with the Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD). We are a flexible sales organization that directs resources toward revenue opportunities identified by FCSD. This is a contract position.
Responsibilities- Responds and gives updated information to our customers as it relates to our business allowing FCS to give exceptional customer service and grow our business
- Assists with new business pricing requests daily and follow up regarding customer concerns and pricing/price sheets as they relate to FCS business
- Maintains pricing metric data and completes tasks necessary to compile information for monthly departmental quality measurable
- Works with the customer and other team members to resolve discrepancies on customer purchase orders
- Follows up and responds to requests for expedites, quantity changes, and pricing or price sheet related items
- Understands various customer groups and pricing strategies (OE only)
- Understands and uses FCS tools, WOLIB, Activity log, Baan, Ford and FCS related websites, Ford systems, and others as they pertain to our business
- Follows up with billing, payment issues, and claims
- Responds to customer requests and solicits orders, in person, via fax, or email
- Works with website developer to keep website(s) current
- Visits customer location as directed
- Other duties may be assigned
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
