Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Planning and Construction, the Project Manager has responsibility for all aspects of the development and implementation of small to medium-sized capital and/or
deferred maintenance design and construction projects and work orders, and for coordinating all phases of large capital projects with campus constituents. The Project Manager works with a high degree of professional judgment while receiving general direction from the Director. The position requires independent problem solving, sound decision making, and the ability to balance project scope, schedule, budget, operational continuity, and stakeholder needs.
Responsibilities include managing the project design, construction, and activation process:
- Prepares work scopes, projects schedules, and estimates of probable cost.
